Dr. Qiyi Luo is the Chief Technology Officer of the Company and a member of GMC, CEC and ICC. Dr. Luo has over 27 years of experience in the medical device industry.
Prior to joining us in 2003, he worked as Principal Research and Development Engineer and Senior Manufacturing / Development Engineer at Medtronic AVE in the United States and Canada from 1995 to 2002. From 1991 to 1995, he worked as Supervisor and Engineer of the angioplasty research and development team at Vas-Cath Inc., a subsidiary of C.R. Bard, Inc., in Canada. Dr. Luo, jointly with others, owns 375 patent applications in China, the United States, Japan and the European Union.
Dr. Luo received his bachelor's degree in Applied Science from Yunnan University of Technology in 1983, his master's degree in Applied Science from Queen's University in Canada in 1990 and doctor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Shanghai for Science and Technology in 2014.
